He purchased this wonderful parrot yesterday:
Still don’t have a name for her yet She is a Blue Faced/Front Amazon parrot. Being an Amazon I’m trying to think of an exotic name but all that comes up is Xena (the Amazon Princess). But Gabby was an Amazon Princess in the Xena tv show. hmmm She (the parrot) already can say Hello (at only 4 months old) so maybe she might be Gabby? lol Don’t know yet…

We finally have a chance to go up to the cabin and work on the flooring. Hopefully we can get the water heater closet tiled and install the water heater. Then if time we can do the wood flooring in the other rooms, or at least partially.

I just got a call from the lady in the cafeteria here at work – she got me a copy of the recipe for their Stone Soup – a really thick creamy chicken with dumplins.

Ugh… My car has been in the shop getting it’s brakes, clutch, some rods, lights fixed and an oil change done since Monday after work. I was hoping it would be done tonight after work so I can pick it up. The repairs are costing me approx. $2,600 (car is only worth about $1,600 but I don’t want payments right now). Just got off the phone now to find out it wont be ready tonight. I have been car pooling since Monday and really want my car back. Dont get me wrong – I don’t mind being chauffeured around but still like to have my “freedom”.
It better last a couple more years after this “fix-up” is all I can say…

For those of you who didn’t know, I was expecting… But as of last Thursday, I am now not. I was about 9 1/2 weeks along but when I saw my doctor they couldn’t find a heartbeat. The Ultrasound confirmed that I had lost the baby during week 7. Thursday I had a D & C done.
